The fact that I can write comedy as easily as horror is, perhaps, the biggest problem with my personal brand.  No one wants a Stephen King who also writes for The Simpsons. 

   But comedy is what I learned to write first, when I was ten years old and had to get up in front of the class and read my essay, and got laughter and applause from my peers for the simple jokes.  I think most every comedian has a moment like that, where they get to taste that very particular drug.

   I once read a theory that jokes evolved as a way of showing intelligence as a survival trait to the opposite sex.  I disagree, I think it evolved as a way for those who were smart but small to keep from getting attacked by the giant ape men in the clan.  God knows it worked for me in the many years before I learned to fight. 

   Course, the problem with comics, is I can't draw for shit.  There are too many to fit here, the rest were at www.ThemsGoodComics.com, but I took down the site.
